Its an easier, faster, cleaner, better build

There are building advantages:
  1. The building shell goes up quickly and is straight and true. There is less on site work.
  2. With the building shell installed quickly, winter builds are fine with indoor trades able to proceed within a week or two.
  3. No special tools are needed, other than a nail gun.
  4. Indoor and outdoor trades can progress at the same time, reducing build time.
  5. Less timber required, so less cost.
  6. The offcuts remain in our factory for recycling. Your site remains clean and you can begin landscaping within weeks.
  7. Save money on skip bins and clean up and easily keep the site well organised.

And there are project management advantages:
  1. The fixed price contract helps you avoid cost overruns and includes installation if needed.
  2. Simplify your building program, because the factory made SIP panels go up fast and accurately.
  3. Better manage the project cash flow, our payment terms match the way banks offer their finance.
  4. Enjoy excellent buying power when you work with our supply chain.
  5. One builder with relatively unskilled support can erect the shell, save your carpentry budget for the nice finishes.

Its a more comfortable, healthier, better building

SIP HAUS ticks the four boxes:
  • low cost computer driven production system;
  • environmentally sustainable;
  • low heating and cooling costs; and
  • a healthy and comfortable house.
SIP buildings are made from Structural Insulated Panels that are becoming popular now in Australia because they are low cost, sustainable and high performance.
  1. Build Cost: SIP technology has been used for many decades and with today's computer controlled manufacturing means you have a very high quality building while controlling cost.
  2. Global Good: SIPs are made from sustainable materials, provide good levels of carbon storage and have low embodied energy. Lower running costs for the building is a bonus for the planet.
  3. Lifetime Cost: By controlling internal temperature with high performance insulation the lifetime cost of the building is low. A basic brick buildings that is cheap to build, expensive to heat and cool and not actually comfortable to live in is not really as a bargain is it?
  4. Health & Comfort: Live in clean, comfortable, conditioned comfort all year round, we all deserve a healthy, pleasant environment.

Special Inclusions

Picture
We've put together the key elements of a great building that will perform amazingly well and is fabulous value. Any shape or style of building is possible. After that, the inclusions are up to you!

Basics about SIPs

  1. SIP Haus building panels are Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) composed of expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation sandwiched between two skins of 11.1mm thick Oriented Strand Board (OSB). The edges are trimmed with timber, which form joining splines.
  2. OSB and splines are from sustainable sources.
  3. SIP Haus is much stronger than similar sized stud walls. The skins can hold high loads because they are held straight by the EPS core. The system is cost effective because it produces great strength from the material used.
  4. SIP Haus is a far more air-tight and highly insulated building, for superior energy-efficiency.
  5. All panel joints are sealed and the building shell is weather wrapped in a breathable, water proof membrane.
  6. Super high internal air quality and comfort using low cost heat exchange ventilation units.
  7. High performance double glazed aluminium windows are standard (with thermal break frames).
